Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ate Deiman took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute of the match, Mathijs Klap got a very nice opportunity to score, but Reinhard Bennink was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 5th minute of the match, Albert Beerthuis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Reinhard Bennink saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Reinhard Bennink made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Mathijs Klap sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the match, Mathijs Klap notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Diamonds's Reinhard Bennink. Reinhard Bennink was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reinhard Bennink made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathijs Klap in the 16th minute. Reinhard Bennink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Beerthuis in the 17th minute of the match. Punten were furious when Nico van der Woude was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Punten fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! 23 minutes into the game, Diamonds's Jan Oss nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernard Reitsema made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Bernard Reitsema took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Stragapede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Diamonds defense, Ate Deiman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reinhard Bennink. The Diamonds fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reinhard Bennink should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Ate Deiman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Reinhard Bennink. That made the score 3-2 in the 32 minute of play. In the 35th minute Marco Cranenburgh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinhard Bennink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathijs Klap could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Reinhard Bennink made a huge save. Bernard Reitsema took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Borker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathijs Klap got free with Reinhard Bennink in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Punten's Ate Deiman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reinhard Bennink. That made the score 4-2 after 46 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

58 minutes into the match, Ate Deiman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reinhard Bennink. Diamonds's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ate Deiman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. After some careless play in the Diamonds defense, Mathijs Klap kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reinhard Bennink. The Diamonds fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reinhard Bennink should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute Mathijs Klap shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinhard Bennink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Reinhard Spaan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Diamonds's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Punten the free kick. Diamonds's Reinhard Bennink played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathijs Klap in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Marco Cranenburgh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Punten fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. A hard shot 78 in the game by Daniele Stragapede from a close distance when the talented Bernard Reitsema managed to make a qualified save. Punten's players were relieved. With a little luck, Punten's Bernard Reitsema got control of the ball when Jan Oss tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Diamonds's goal looked a bit too open when Ate Deiman came free, but Reinhard Bennink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 minutes of play, Punten's Marco Cranenburgh made it 8-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reinhard Bennink was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reinhard Bennink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathijs Klap, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After a rather tough play, Punten's Sjoerd van Heiningen got a free kick in the 95th minute. Albert Beerthuis kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
