If Kenneth van Driest had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 5 played minutes Niswijlre FC got a freekick which was hit by Riemer Gronden. When Gilbert Blind fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bruchterveld HC's protests and gave Gilbert Blind a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Niswijlre FC booed when Bruchterveld HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Blind didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Niswijlre FC's Jan Mussies threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gijs Baars, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Niswijlre FC's goalkeeper Michael Greef, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kenneth van Driest fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Greef having to interfere. Michael Greef showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruud Klok, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 31st minute, Kenneth van Driest got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michael Greef took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruud Klok, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Riemer Gronden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Mussies having to interfere. Jan Mussies took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rien van Bommel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tim Arts kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bertus Ewald in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Mussies prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 56 minutes into the game, Fabian Butter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bruchterveld HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Niswijlre FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bruchterveld HC's Fabian Butter got a free kick in the 56th minute. When Niswijlre FC's Gijs Baars in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bruchterveld HC's goalie prevented a goal. Jan Mussies didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijs Baars went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 70th minute Gijs Baars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Mussies saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 71st minute of the match Fabian Butter completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fabian Butter a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Fabian Butter hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Niswijlre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kenneth van Driest came free, but Michael Greef reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Ruud Klok managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bruchterveld HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruud Klok was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Greef breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the match, Niswijlre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruud Klok came free, but Michael Greef reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sipke Friebel came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Niswijlre FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sipke Friebel couldn't finish the play. Gijs Baars kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Kenneth van Driests short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Michael Greef to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bertus Ewald made in the 94th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Riemer Gronden however managed to control. Gijs Baars recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Niswijlre FC had won after a very even match.
