After 3 played minutes FC Beachelona got a freekick which was hit by Jos Baaijen. 16 minutes into the match, FC Beachelona's goal looked a bit too open when Timmie Terpstra came free, but Marick Staarman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Beachelona's Steven Post got a free kick in the 18th minute. Marick Staarman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregor Baalen in the 19th minute of the match. Marick Staarman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmie Terpstra in the 22nd minute of play. Michaels All Stars's Herbert Klasens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Kristoffers in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Henk Kristoffers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Klasens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Klasens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo van der Saar, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A collision led to FC Beachelona getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Reinier Klasens hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timmie Terpstra to strike the kick off in the second half. Teo van der Saar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 64 minutes of play, FC Beachelona's Henk Kristoffers made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herbert Klasens was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Michaels All Stars booed when FC Beachelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Haan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herbert Klasens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk Kristoffers in the 70th minute of play. After 76 played minutes FC Beachelona got a freekick which was hit by Jan Haan. In the 82nd minute, Henk Kristoffers fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Michaels All Stars's Herbert Klasens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Michaels All Stars from getting a goal against them. With his leg Herbert Klasens managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when FC Beachelona's Teo van der Saar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 86th match minute, Michaels All Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stef Kroon to maneuver through the defense. 0-2 became the score in the 90th minute when Teo van der Saar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The FC Beachelona players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
