Bernard Reitsema was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Henry Lever capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Henry Lever really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Richard Meijs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Bernard Reitsema made a huge save. Bernard Reitsema was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Henry Lever showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 34 minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richard Meijs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Miroslav Jelínek managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Punten's Ate Deiman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
