Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Zeyen FC's Richard Meijs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jan Mussies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Casado in the 4th minute of play. Richard Meijs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 8 minutes, Mark de Zwart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zeyen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark de Zwart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommie Melis kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Kenneth van Driest received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Miroslav Jelínek came out and tried to block the shot, but Kenneth van Driest slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Zeyen FC's goalkeeper Miroslav Jelínek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kenneth van Driest. After 26 minutes Bruchterveld HC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Silvestre Casado who took care of the corner kick. Henk Kuiper was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Bruchterveld HC's Jan Mussies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Lever in the 29th minute of play. After 32 played minutes Bruchterveld HC got a freekick which was hit by Tim Arts. Miroslav Jelínek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kenneth van Driest in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Kenneth van Driest managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bruchterveld HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenneth van Driest was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miroslav Jelínek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miroslav Jelínek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Duin in the 41st minute of play. Jan Mussies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Pelliccia in the 43rd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Richard Meijs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zeyen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Meijs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Mussies breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Lever in the 58th minute of play forced Bruchterveld HC's goalkeeper Jan Mussies to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Tim Arts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan Mussies made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Tommie Melis sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Zeyen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kenneth van Driest came free, but Miroslav Jelínek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bruchterveld HC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Teo Duin hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Silvestre Casado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zeyen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvestre Casado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Mussies breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan Mussies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Meijs in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Kenneth van Driest was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bruchterveld HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zeyen FC the free kick. The supporters of Zeyen FC booed when Bruchterveld HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth van Driest didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute Henry Lever shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Mussies saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruud Klok charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruud Klok the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bruchterveld HC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Zeyen FC a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Silvestre Casado, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bruchterveld HC's Jan Mussies. 1-2. Zeyen FC's Henk Kuiper got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henry Lever took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Mussies. Jan Mussies dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3.
