Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1875, VIP seats: 51) Niswijlre FC's Gijs Baars started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jouke Mensing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Michael Greef tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertus Ewald during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes Niswijlre FC got a freekick which was hit by Bertus Ewald. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Daniele Stragapede put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Michael Greef. Gijs Baars hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Reinhard Bennink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijs Baars, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniele Stragapede kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Michael Greef. That made the score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Rien van Bommel took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reinhard Bennink. Reinhard Bennink dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Daniele Stragapede who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Michael Greef when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Riemer Gronden kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Diamonds's Jan Oss shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Michael Greef but with some difficulty. Niswijlre FC's Michael Greef proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Niswijlre FC from getting a goal against them. Daniele Stragapede could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Michael Greef made a huge save. During the 28th minute of the match Riemer Gronden completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Riemer Gronden a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Niswijlre FC's Riemer Gronden got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Gijs Baars fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Niswijlre FC's protests and gave Gijs Baars a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Niswijlre FC booed when Diamonds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Hof didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijs Baars in the 36th minute of play forced Diamonds's goalkeeper Reinhard Bennink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th play minute Daniele Stragapede came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Michael Greef. 4-1. Michael Greef showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Stragapede, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Sipke Friebel hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. A collision led to Niswijlre FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gijs Baars hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniele Stragapede stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rudolf Borker might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michael Greef. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rudolf Borker ran back to his position shaking his head. Bertus Ewalds short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Reinhard Bennink to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniele Stragapede in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Greef prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Daniele Stragapede sped through Niswijlre FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Michael Greef. In the 67th minute Daniele Stragapede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Greef saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Jan Oss left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diamonds fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Rudolf Borker scored 8-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michael Greef, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniele Stragapede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Michael Greef tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 minutes, Daniele Stragapede made it 9-1 with a short kick to the right side. Niswijlre FC's Michael Greef tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the game, Jan Oss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-1. Michael Greef was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
