The Bergeijk fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Bergeijk's Frans Rademaker looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Frans Rademaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berry Blanc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koen Buskes in the 17th minute of the match. Bergeijk's Berry Blanc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Bosma in the 27th minute of play. In the 42nd minute of the match Meindert Peppinck sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Berry Blanc skillfully saved the ball.

Daan Mos hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Frans Rademaker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pascall de Gooijer having to make a save. When Ernst Stekelenburg came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Bergeijk fans jumped to their feet. After a rather tough play, Hizmet Movement's Bruno Braamhaar got a free kick in the 60th minute.
