Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Harm Meerdink made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Nisse's Bill Dekkers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cobus de Haan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Cobus de Haan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bill Dekkers's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bill Dekkers in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cobus de Haan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Ferdinant Broers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertus de Swart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Harm Meerdink's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bertus de Swart was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Bertus de Swart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harm Meerdink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Nisse's Fernando Terpstra got a free kick in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinant Broers in the 19th minute of play forced Nisse's goalkeeper Bertus de Swart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olaf Verheije could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Bertus de Swart made a huge save. When Rogier de Jaeger came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Nisse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogier de Jaeger couldn't finish the play. Bertus de Swart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harm Meerdink in the 23rd minute of play. Herksen's Cobus de Haan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bill Dekkers in the 28th minute of play. Stefan Kostermans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Bertus de Swart made a huge save. Yuri Rieks might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cobus de Haan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yuri Rieks ran back to his position shaking his head. Bill Dekkers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rogier de Jaeger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bill Dekkers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cobus de Haan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bill Dekkers to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Stefan Kostermans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nisse's Bertus de Swart was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 54th minute, Bill Dekkers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cobus de Haan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Bill Dekkers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bertus de Swart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinant Broers, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Cobus de Haan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bill Dekkers in the 65th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Cobus de Haan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bill Dekkerss short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Cobus de Haan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Herksen's Cobus de Haan got control of the ball when Bill Dekkers tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Bert Teesing came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Nisse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bert Teesing couldn't finish the play. Yuri Rieks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78th play minutes Bill Dekkers shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Cobus de Haan and just under the crossbar into goal. Nisse's Bertus de Swart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harm Meerdink in the 83rd minute of play. Bill Dekkers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cobus de Haan having to interfere. Rogier de Jaeger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cobus de Haan having to interfere. Nisse's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
