Spectators: 7473 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sjoerd Helwig started the match with the kick off. Pieter-Jan Klaus came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by SV Spakenburg's Maikel Redan. But to his dismay, Maikel Redan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Max Gerrits came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the SV Spakenburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Max Gerrits couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Sjoerd Helwig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pieter-Jan Klaus was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 15th minute, Sjoerd Helwig made a precise shot to the right of Pieter-Jan Klaus. Knabbel en Babbel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Knabbel en Babbel's Pieter-Jan Klaus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maikel Redan in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Knabbel en Babbel's goal looked a bit too open when Sjoerd Helwig came free, but Pieter-Jan Klaus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Sjoerd Helwig notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Knabbel en Babbel's Pieter-Jan Klaus. Pieter-Jan Klaus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maikel Redan scored 0-5 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pieter-Jan Klaus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute Sjoerd Helwig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pieter-Jan Klaus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfred Som could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Orlando Knauer made a huge save. Alfred Som hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the game, Frank Pragt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Pieter-Jan Klaus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfred Som was the one to do the kick off. Pieter-Jan Klaus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sjoerd Helwig in the 53rd minute of play. Frank Pragt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pieter-Jan Klaus firmly grabbed it by the left post. 57 minutes into the match, Sjoerd Helwig notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Knabbel en Babbel's Pieter-Jan Klaus. Pieter-Jan Klaus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the game, Maikel Redan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pieter-Jan Klaus. Maikel Redan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. The supporters of SV Spakenburg booed when Knabbel en Babbel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurgen Saelman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 71 minutes into the game, when Gertjan Steffens put in a rough tackle. Pieter-Jan Klaus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sjoerd Helwig in the 78th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Frank Pragt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pieter-Jan Klaus. That made the score 0-11 in the 82 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Max Gerrits got free with Pieter-Jan Klaus in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pieter-Jan Klaus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damario Villaboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Pieter-Jan Klaus made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Damario Villaboa sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute, SV Spakenburg's Damario Villaboa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pieter-Jan Klaus. Pieter-Jan Klaus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. The Knabbel en Babbel fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SV Spakenburg were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
