With a little luck, Koningsbosch HC's Jelmer Carels got control of the ball when Florian Zilverberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frits Gronden in the 19th minute of play forced Koningsbosch HC's goalkeeper Jelmer Carels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Koningsbosch HC defense, Eustacio Medina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jelmer Carels. The Koningsbosch HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jelmer Carels should have stopped the shot. Jelmer Carels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Zilverberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Ronny de Mol hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Jelmer Carels stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florian Zilverberg's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florian Zilverberg in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jelmer Carels saved Koningsbosch HC from getting behind. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arno Gierman to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frits Gronden couldn't finish the play. The De Kwakel FC fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when De Kwakel FC's Florian Zilverberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Eustacio Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Kwakel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustacio Medina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jelmer Carels breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florian Zilverberg in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jelmer Carels saved Koningsbosch HC from getting behind. If Arnold Vaalman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. De Kwakel FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
