Cláudio Muslera came out of the goal and Albert Zapatero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Zapatero in the 11th minute of play forced Unit5's goalkeeper Cláudio Muslera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 龙渊挺 kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Chris Veltman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unit5's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Veltman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Paulo Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Paulo Oliverios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Muslera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Muslera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. A collision led to Unit5 getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jean-Paul Jochemsen hit a great ball. If Paulo Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The wind increased when Roy Thijsse made the kick off in the second half. Douwe Peeters charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With his leg Cláudio Muslera managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Spa's Albert Zapatero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
