Otto Ierlandt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Michael Wilson might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cláudio Muslera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michael Wilson ran back to his position shaking his head. After 23 minutes of play, Unit5's Roy Thijsse made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Otto Ierlandt was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the match, Lammerenburg HC's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Thijsse came free, but Otto Ierlandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otto Ierlandt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Thijsse, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. A collision led to Lammerenburg HC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Michael Wilson hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Michael Wilson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lammerenburg HC reached it. Arne Seinstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Ierlandt having to interfere. Chris Veltman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Otto Ierlandt made a huge save. Arne Seinstra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lammerenburg HC's Otto Ierlandt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Lammerenburg HC from getting a goal against them. Cláudio Muslera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hub Bartels in the 87th minute of the match. Giel Folkers kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Otto Ierlandt made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Chris Veltman sent off a good shot on target. Unit5's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
