After a rather tough play, FC Fruithof's Jelte Seedorf got a free kick in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hette Kun in the 5th minute of play forced Spa's goalkeeper Zhao Ping Hui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zhao Ping Hui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hette Kun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hette Kun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Zhao Ping Hui made a huge save. After a rather tough play, FC Fruithof's Zafer Parskan got a free kick in the 20th minute. Dudu Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Oliverios in the 21st minute of the match. Ryan Fokkens made in the 24th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sjaak Abbenbroek immediately put the ball in play. In the 24th minute Paulo Oliverios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dudu Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hans Eylens fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spa's protests and gave Hans Eylens a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Fruithof booed when Spa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Eylens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ryan Fokkens made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Fruithof's Jhon Wotte. FC Fruithof's Dudu Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommi Lundell in the 36th minute of play. Tommi Lundell scored 0-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dudu Rossi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tommi Lundell made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Spa's Tommi Lundell got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Spa's Tommi Lundell got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Douwe Peeters who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Dudu Rossi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. FC Fruithof's attentive Alex Medgyesi managed to snatch the ball when Henk-Jan Beuneker made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. When Zafer Parskan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. Zafer Parskan hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Paulo Oliverios received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dudu Rossi came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulo Oliverios slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 80th minute. Tommi Lundell might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dudu Rossi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommi Lundell ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Spa's Paulo Oliverios slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dudu Rossi. That made the score 1-3 after 85 minutes of play. A sloppy throw-in by Ryan Fokkens in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Fruithof's Filip Carel. Paulo Oliverios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Dudu Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans Eylens was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 96 played minutes Spa got a freekick which was hit by Hans Eylens. The supporters of Spa booed when FC Fruithof was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerrit Zeeman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 99th minute, Tommi Lundell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Although FC Fruithof had been in control for most of the match, Spa still came away with the win.
