The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Batiste Chapeau got free with Martien Stühling in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martien Stühling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Björn in the 7th minute of the match. Nicolaj Corbitsø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diderik Smibum in the 10th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in AFC Treubwegje fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Martien Stühling was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Riemer Lindeman. In the 27th minute Riemer Lindeman suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Jos Meijs charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jos Meijs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nicolaj Corbitsø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Tinge in the 36th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Björn Björn dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Martien Stühling, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diderik Smibum to make the kick off. Batiste Chapeau struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Martien Stühling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eenkwartier. In the 60th minute, Batiste Chapeau made a precise shot to the right of Martien Stühling. AFC Treubwegje's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Jos Meijs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Diderik Smibum took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Nicolaj Corbitsø to make any attempt to save it. Nicolaj Corbitsø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Tinge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st match minute, Eenkwartier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tonny Pragt to maneuver through the defense. Björn Björn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martien Stühling came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Eenkwartier's Björn Björn. But to his dismay, Björn Björn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After 90 minutes of play, Eenkwartier's Björn Björn made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martien Stühling was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martien Stühling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batiste Chapeau in the 93rd minute of the match. AFC Treubwegje's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
