Cor Struik hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, FC Cityside's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joop Zeegers fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 8 minutes into the game, Gio Eefting cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jurre Roelfs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Ubojnia's Rasmus Fagrell got a free kick in the 11th minute. Michael Baatenburg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jurre Roelfs. Ubojnia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Inácio Mineiro took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olof Rekers. Olof Rekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Joop Zeegers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olof Rekers was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Inácio Mineiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Inácio Mineiro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Ubojnia's Jurre Roelfs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gio Eefting in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Ubojnia getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Fiz Verdu hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Riemer Waesbergen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurre Roelfs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joop Zeegers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Olof Rekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joop Zeegers might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olof Rekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joop Zeegers ran back to his position shaking his head. Joop Zeegers struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Olof Rekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ubojnia. Joop Zeegers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Olof Rekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Inácio Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ubojnia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Mineiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 43 minutes, Boudewijn van der Wiel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ubojnia and the FC Cityside players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ubojnia's Boudewijn van der Wiel got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Riemer Waesbergen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 47th minute Inácio Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olof Rekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joop Zeegers made a kick off. Ubojnia's Inácio Mineiro got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th match minute, FC Cityside was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Baatenburg to maneuver through the defense. Gertjan Maes shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 64th minute, Joop Zeegers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Inácio Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ubojnia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Mineiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Inácio Mineiro came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Ubojnia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inácio Mineiro couldn't finish the play. Inácio Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inácio Mineiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olof Rekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Ubojnia's goalkeeper Jurre Roelfs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henk-Jan Sanders. Inácio Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joop Zeegers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joop Zeegers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olof Rekers having to make a save. FC Cityside's Olof Rekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joop Zeegers in the 90th minute of play. If Inácio Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inácio Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Rekers having to interfere. Henk-Jan Sanders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurre Roelfs having to interfere. Ubojnia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
