The audience was convinced that Erik van Harten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martien Eisenga was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. When Erik van Harten came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the FC Saleen fans jumped to their feet. Martien Eisenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik van Harten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 played minutes Vinzendi FC Retired! got a freekick which was hit by Marinus van Zwam. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Peng Hui in the 43rd minute of play forced Vinzendi FC Retired!'s goalkeeper Martien Eisenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 minutes of play, FC Saleen's Shi Peng Hui made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martien Eisenga was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Vinzendi FC Retired! booed when FC Saleen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arno Spanjer didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anton Aerssen to make the kick off. 53 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FC Saleen's Shi Peng Hui fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 54th minute, Shi Peng Hui left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Saleen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Martien Zoetmulder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martien Eisenga having to make a save. Martien Eisenga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik van Harten in the 59th minute. During the 60th minute of the match Marinus van Zwam completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marinus van Zwam a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Marinus van Zwam hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Martien Eisenga was a little too slow when Erik van Harten got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-8. Martien Eisenga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erik van Harten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 65 minute of play. Vinzendi FC Retired!'s Martien Eisenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arno Ranzijn in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Arno Ranzijn recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Martien Eisenga. Arno Ranzijn showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. If Martien Zoetmulder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik van Harten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Shi Peng Hui had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martien Eisenga. Vinzendi FC Retired!'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shi Peng Hui was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 0-13 when Erik van Harten sped through Vinzendi FC Retired!'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Martien Eisenga. In the 89th minute, Shi Peng Hui made a precise shot to the right of Martien Eisenga. Vinzendi FC Retired!'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-14. Martien Eisenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martien Zoetmulder in the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Arno Spanjer lined in a short shot 0-15 behind a frustrated Martien Eisenga.
