With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Halen in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferdinant Schmidt saved Reusel S.C. from getting behind. Gonzalo Kelemen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kreielt az alkmar's Jurgen Akkerman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Kreielt az alkmar from getting a goal against them. Rareș Ignea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Jurgen Akkerman made a huge save. Jurgen Akkerman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Schulte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 minutes, Fabian Bemmel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kreielt az alkmar and the Reusel S.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
