Revenge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antoni Solecki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wim Kiewit's late challenge caught a Revenge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Revenge's Antoni Solecki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Martien Eisenga. That made the score 0-17 after 84 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aad van der Weerden during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Revenge's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
