In the 4th minute, Gilberto Fresco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredinho Negri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Geert van Harten made a huge save. Anastasio Muno took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geert Lambert. Geert Lambert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Poortugaal FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Harm Ros hit a great ball. After 13 played minutes Warm got a freekick which was hit by Bram Nibbelke. After a rather tough play, Warm's Alfredinho Negri got a free kick in the 15th minute. Alfredinho Negri's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Geert van Harten firmly grabbed it by the left post. Warm's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gilberto Fresco in the 25th minute. Warm's Gilberto Fresco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Geert van Harten in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Geert van Harten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alek Candries, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Geert Lambert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Muno, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Brain Kok didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredinho Negri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geert van Harten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anastasio Muno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfredinho Negri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geert van Harten having to make a save. Geert van Harten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alek Candries's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Warm's Jacobus Redan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dirk Raatjes, made in the 56th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Alfredinho Negri sped through Poortugaal FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Geert van Harten. Geert van Harten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the game, Anastasio Muno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Geert Lambert. Anastasio Muno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Alfredinho Negri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th match minute, Warm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wictor Jespersson to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrico Grieco during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Geert Lambert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Muno in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the Poortugaal FC defense, Alfredinho Negri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geert van Harten. The Poortugaal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geert van Harten should have stopped the shot. Poortugaal FC's Twan Ponk was substituted for Jeffrey Heeringa. In the 90th minute, Alek Candries hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geert van Harten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredinho Negri in the 95th minute of play. Geert van Harten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alek Candries, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
