Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mirko Boezem ran back to his position shaking his head. When Oskar Vesterberg came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the De Horsterboeren SV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskar Vesterberg couldn't finish the play. Ralph Cramer hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Frits van Loo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joris Zoetmulder. If Edward Wijk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Jurgen Koole hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the game, Shi Yao Zhen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Frits van Loo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Shi Yao Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute Jean-Paul Schuiling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stephan Wielens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Shi Yao Zhen notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of SV Wissenkerke's Frits van Loo. Frits van Loo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 36 played minutes SV Wissenkerke got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Bombarda. Frits van Loo was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Shi Yao Zhen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Shi Yao Zhen really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. If Shi Yao Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shi Yao Zhen made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, SV Wissenkerke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaas Jan Hellemons to maneuver through the defense. Joris Zoetmulder took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Frits van Loo. SV Wissenkerke's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, SV Wissenkerke's goal looked a bit too open when Oskar Vesterberg came free, but Frits van Loo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerjan Staarman in the 65th minute of play forced De Horsterboeren SV's goalkeeper Stephan Wielens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Yao Zhen in the 67th minute of play forced SV Wissenkerke's goalkeeper Frits van Loo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute German Orlanda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frits van Loo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frits van Loo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oskar Vesterberg went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. SV Wissenkerke's Frits van Loo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Yao Zhen in the 74th minute of play. If Shi Yao Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Shi Yao Zhen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frits van Loo. SV Wissenkerke's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shi Yao Zhen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After 83 minutes of play, De Horsterboeren SV's German Orlanda made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frits van Loo was left in no man's land by his defense there! German Orlanda took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frits van Loo. Frits van Loo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Alessandro Barchiesi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frits van Loo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, SV Wissenkerke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Paul Schuiling to maneuver through the defense. When Marco Hofland fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SV Wissenkerke's protests and gave Marco Hofland a yellow card for diving instead. Alessandro Barchiesi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frits van Loo having to make a save. There was no doubt that De Horsterboeren SV were the better team. De Horsterboeren SV's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
