Candido Lico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerald Maurits went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Neeme Van Achteren scored 2-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Candido Lico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Maikel Lammers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Candido Lico. That made the score 3-0 in the 10 minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Luniabird's goal looked a bit too open when Neeme Van Achteren came free, but Candido Lico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Jan Rademaker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Hollander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Lico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roeland van der Werff in the 21st minute. Candido Lico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neeme Van Achteren in the 24th minute of the match. Neeme Van Achteren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Candido Lico made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, Northern Titans's goal looked a bit too open when Rafal Cholewa came free, but Billy Hollander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Northern Titans's Menno Heck got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 32 played minutes Northern Titans got a freekick which was hit by Roeland van der Werff. 34 minutes into the game, Rafal Cholewa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Billy Hollander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felix Lembeck kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Menno Heck's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Candido Lico firmly grabbed it by the left post. Candido Lico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Menno Heck in the 43rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Candido Lico successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 44 minutes into the match, Menno Heck notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Luniabird's Candido Lico. Candido Lico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafal Cholewa made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Maikel Lammers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Candido Lico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Luniabird's Ágoston Kun in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Northern Titans's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Luniabird's Jan Rademaker got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 65th match minute, Luniabird was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jos Kramer to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Roeland van der Werff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Candido Lico was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Thanks to some nice moves Jan Rademaker could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Billy Hollander however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafal Cholewa got free with Billy Hollander in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute Jan Rademaker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Hollander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafal Cholewa got free with Billy Hollander in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Neeme Van Achteren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Menno Heck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Candido Lico was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. After 84 played minutes Northern Titans got a freekick which was hit by Felix Lembeck. After 86 played minutes Luniabird got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Lokin. In the 87th minute, Vincent Lokin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruud Arnolds in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Candido Lico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Luniabird defense, Gerald Maurits kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Candido Lico. The Luniabird fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Candido Lico should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute Ruud Arnolds shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Lico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Lico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruud Arnolds in the 96th minute of play.
