Spectators: 8268 (Terracing: 6250, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 168) After 7 played minutes Diermen HC got a freekick which was hit by 俞洲誉. 13 minutes into the match, Diermen HC's goal looked a bit too open when Jos Gerrits came free, but Kristoffer Nordfeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steedshoger were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Diermen HC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Henk-Jan Numan took the corner. Steedshoger's Henk-Jan Numan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kristoffer Nordfeldt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sebastian Anghelescu's late challenge caught a Steedshoger's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Anghelescu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Diermen HC's Sebastian Anghelescu got a free kick in the 21st minute. Kristoffer Nordfeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jos Gerrits in the 28th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jos Gerrits in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kristoffer Nordfeldt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gijs Wagenaar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristoffer Nordfeldt had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Henk-Jan Numan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 37th minute, Henk-Jan Numan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Steedshoger fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 45 played minutes Steedshoger got a freekick which was hit by Henk-Jan Numan. Diermen HC's Kristoffer Nordfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jos Gerrits in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

If Gijs Wagenaar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Jos Gerrits reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kristoffer Nordfeldt. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 58th minute Jos Gerrits shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristoffer Nordfeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 minutes, Jos Gerrits made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Diermen HC's Kristoffer Nordfeldt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kristoffer Nordfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Japke Wielaert in the 62nd minute of play. Kristoffer Nordfeldt made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Jos Gerrits sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jos Gerrits in the 69th minute of play forced Diermen HC's goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristoffer Nordfeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jos Gerrits, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Jos Gerrits took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Kristoffer Nordfeldt to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijs Wagenaar in the 77th minute of play forced Steedshoger's goalkeeper Rudi Ebbinge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francis Graffin struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Rudi Ebbinge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diermen HC. 84 minutes into the match, Diermen HC's Sebastian Anghelescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rudi Ebbinge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, 俞洲誉 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rudi Ebbinge. Steedshoger's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 俞洲誉 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Rudi Ebbinge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Chiuzbaian, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Jos Gerrits charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jos Gerrits the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jos Gerrits kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. A collision led to Diermen HC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Kevin Booy hit a great ball. With a little luck, Diermen HC's Kristoffer Nordfeldt got control of the ball when Mark Hovenkamp tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Diermen HC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Steedshoger's performance. The match ended with a win for Steedshoger.
