Otto Zuidam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerrit Hooiveld went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Azubeli in the 27th minute of play forced Springplank FC's goalkeeper Otto Zuidam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otto Zuidam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Azubeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Ferdi Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Springplank FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdi Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrão Sarmento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th match minute, Springplank FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Resulhan Özdoruk to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Niels-Jan Cales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
