PSV Eindhoven's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Daniel Sergipano scored to the left of an out of position Alwin Baatenburg, making the score, 3-0. Alwin Baatenburg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vadim Ilyin in the 17th minute. Alwin Baatenburg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batıkan User in the 18th minute of the match. Alwin Baatenburg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute, Johan Meertens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Batıkan User in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alwin Baatenburg saved PSV Eindhoven from getting behind. Alwin Baatenburg made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Daniel Sergipano sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Bovenkarspel's Alwin Baatenburg threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniel Sergipano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Theo Tevreden made the kick off in the second half. After 69 minutes of play, Bovenkarspel's Wu Mo made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alwin Baatenburg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the match, Henk-Jan Zandstra notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of PSV Eindhoven's Alwin Baatenburg. Alwin Baatenburg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alwin Baatenburg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vadim Ilyin, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Vadim Ilyin scored 15-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alwin Baatenburg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 89 minutes of play, Bovenkarspel's Dave Caneva made it 16-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alwin Baatenburg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the match, Vadim Ilyin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alwin Baatenburg. PSV Eindhoven's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vadim Ilyin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 17-0. In the 96th minute Henk-Jan Zandstra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alwin Baatenburg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Bovenkarspel players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
