Bovenkarspel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Springplank FC the free kick. If Ferdi Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. D-Anna White kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Kang Ting Qing charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kang Ting Qing the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Kang Ting Qing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Springplank FC's Mevlüt Naşit got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Mevlüt Naşit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harris Tanis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 18 played minutes Bovenkarspel got a freekick which was hit by Alex Veldman. Harris Tanis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mevlüt Naşit, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Mevlüt Naşit cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Harris Tanis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Harris Tanis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mevlüt Naşit, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Mevlüt Naşit scored 0-4 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Harris Tanis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Harris Tanis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mevlüt Naşit, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 38 minutes Bovenkarspel's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mevlüt Naşit who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Mevlüt Naşit almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bovenkarspel's Harris Tanis did a great save. Mevlüt Naşit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harris Tanis having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some careless play in the Bovenkarspel defense, Mevlüt Naşit kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harris Tanis. The Bovenkarspel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harris Tanis should have stopped the shot. Bovenkarspel's Henk-Jan Zandstra was substituted for Daniel Sergipano. Bovenkarspel's Andre Wessels was substituted for Cobus Zomer. Gerrit Bos kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Springplank FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Caneva came free, but Otto Zuidam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bovenkarspel's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Mevlüt Naşit scored to the left of an out of position Harris Tanis, making the score, 0-6. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bovenkarspel's goalkeeper Harris Tanis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henk-Jan Zandstra in the 76th minute of play forced Springplank FC's goalkeeper Otto Zuidam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dave Caneva fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bovenkarspel's protests and gave Dave Caneva a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 90 minutes, Mevlüt Naşit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Springplank FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mevlüt Naşit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mevlüt Naşit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harris Tanis having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Springplank FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bovenkarspel.
