Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5879, Seating: 1578, VIP seats: 50) Corky United's Rafael Evans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymond Prins in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Vuilendam's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Hoezen came free, but Jeroen Kimman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeroen Kimman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marnix Palsma in the 5th minute of the match. Jeroen Kimman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Hoezen in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marnix Palsma in the 10th minute of play forced Vuilendam's goalkeeper Jeroen Kimman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marnix Palsma took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeroen Kimman. Jeroen Kimman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Vuilendam's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Hoezen came free, but Jeroen Kimman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Hoezen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jeroen Kimman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marnix Palsma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Ton Zevenhuizen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeroen Kimman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans Hoezen's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After 33 minutes, Diego Milito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vuilendam and the Corky United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Diego Milito hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute Hub Aalberts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeroen Kimman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeroen Kimman came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Corky United's Hans Hoezen. But to his dismay, Hans Hoezen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hans Hoezen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hans Hoezen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 51st playminute. 55 minutes into the match, Marnix Palsma dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jeroen Kimman, 0-4. Hans Hoezen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hans Hoezens short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Jeroen Kimman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 74th minute, Ton Zevenhuizen made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Evans. Corky United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. A collision led to Vuilendam getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Rudolf Rijaard hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Hub Aalberts ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeroen Kimman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. After a rather tough play, Corky United's Myles Quelch got a free kick in the 87th minute. Rafael Evans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karel Zilverberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
