Thijs Iepmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eelco van Rijswijk's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. Baaidunen's Henny van der Schaaf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepijn Daalmeyer in the 4th minute of play. After some careless play in the Limmerkoog defense, Eelco van Rijswijk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thijs Iepmann. The Limmerkoog fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thijs Iepmann should have stopped the shot. Timmie Beukenkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Thijs Iepmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thijs Iepmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timmie Beukenkamp's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Timmie Beukenkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thijs Iepmann having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eelco van Rijswijk in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thijs Iepmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timmie Beukenkamp in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thijs Iepmann saved Limmerkoog from getting behind. In the 27th minute, Timmie Beukenkamp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Baaidunen fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Baaidunen's Eelco van Rijswijk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Eelco van Rijswijk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Timmie Beukenkamp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thijs Iepmann. Limmerkoog's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timmie Beukenkamp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timmie Beukenkamp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thijs Iepmann was a little too slow when Eelco van Rijswijk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-6. Pepijn Daalmeyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timmie Beukenkamp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Thijs Iepmann when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Timmie Beukenkamps short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Thijs Iepmann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Timmie Beukenkamp might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thijs Iepmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timmie Beukenkamp ran back to his position shaking his head. 65 minutes into the match, Eelco van Rijswijk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Thijs Iepmann, 0-8. 68 minutes into the match, Limmerkoog's goalkeeper Thijs Iepmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timmie Beukenkamp. After 69 minutes, Eelco van Rijswijk made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. Limmerkoog's Thijs Iepmann tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernst Hoogendorp succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-10 in the 72nd playminute. 77 minutes into the game, Timmie Beukenkamp recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thijs Iepmann. Timmie Beukenkamp showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. With a little luck, Limmerkoog's Thijs Iepmann got control of the ball when Timmie Beukenkamp tried to sneak it across the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Eelco van Rijswijk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thijs Iepmann. Limmerkoog's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eelco van Rijswijk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. After 84 played minutes Limmerkoog got a freekick which was hit by Sjef Schild. When Baaidunen's Timmie Beukenkamp in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Limmerkoog's goalie prevented a goal. In the 95th minute Eelco van Rijswijk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thijs Iepmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Baaidunen could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Limmerkoog throughout the match.
