An unexpectedly hard shot by 朱沙轩 in the 11th minute of play forced Harkstede RKSV's goalkeeper Damian Natanael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Natanael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Apotheker in the 13th minute of the match. Eethen HC's Gijsbert Harms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard Klaassen in the 15th minute of play. Rafael Iepstra hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When Eethen HC's Arjen Pronk in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dimitrie Veldman was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Damian Natanael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 朱沙轩, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Harkstede RKSV's goal looked a bit too open when 朱沙轩 came free, but Damian Natanael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casper Bartels hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 朱沙轩 was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Harkstede RKSV's Ryszard Czerwiec got a free kick in the 51st minute. Nick Apotheker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Natanael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Damian Natanael made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Nick Apotheker sent off a good shot on target. Arjen Pronk in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The referee showed Roderick Knopper the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Eethen HC booed when Harkstede RKSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roderick Knopper didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harkstede RKSV's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
