The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Bjorn Hebert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jairo Macías. Windraak S.V.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bjorn Hebert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 9 minutes Roverberg S.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Coenraad Muskee who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Ed de Backer managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 16th minute of the match Roverberg S.C. got a corner. Windraak S.V.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bjorn Hebert ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Bjorn Hebert got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jairo Macías quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Theo Machado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jairo Macías was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 19th minute Bjorn Hebert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Macías saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes, Karamfil Shanov made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Windraak S.V.'s Jairo Macías tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Windraak S.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Karamfil Shanov came free, but Jairo Macías reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Theo Machado in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Macías prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jairo Macías took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karamfil Shanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Macías showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karamfil Shanov in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Roverberg S.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Peter van Zijp in the 52nd minute of play forced Roverberg S.C.'s goalkeeper Folker Stekelenburg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th play minute Arquímedes Lauaxeta came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jairo Macías. 0-3. 60 minutes into the match, Bjorn Hebert dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jairo Macías, 0-4. Jairo Macías was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Klaas Jan Zilverberg charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klaas Jan Zilverberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th match minute, Windraak S.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaas Jan Zilverberg to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Windraak S.V. defense, Karamfil Shanov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Macías. The Windraak S.V. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Macías should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute, Karamfil Shanov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Macías was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. In the 93rd minute, Theo Machado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jairo Macías. The goal made the score 0-10. In the 96th minute Theo Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Macías saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roverberg S.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
