An unexpectedly hard shot by Diderik Pepping in the 17th minute of play forced Fruity Oaty Bars's goalkeeper Klaas Jan Halen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klaas Jan Halen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diderik Pepping, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximilian Viklund in the 19th minute of play forced Fruity Oaty Bars's goalkeeper Klaas Jan Halen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Rinus Ebbinge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fruity Oaty Bars's supporters rose to their feet, but Rinus Ebbinge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Malatesta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aurelio Malatesta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hubert Adriaanse went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 27th minute Diderik Pepping shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaas Jan Halen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Klaas Jan Halen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diderik Pepping's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fruity Oaty Bars's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abdulkadir Sungun was slow to take the kick. During this time volibears's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Fruity Oaty Bars's goalie and right to Hugo van Harten. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Fruity Oaty Bars's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Klaas Jan Halen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulkadir Sungun in the 33rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Hubert Adriaanse sped through volibears's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aurelio Malatesta. When Hugo van Harten fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored volibears's protests and gave Hugo van Harten a yellow card for diving instead. Fruity Oaty Bars's Klaas Jan Halen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob van der Valk in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to volibears getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Edmond Péquignot hit a great ball. In the 47th minute Diderik Pepping shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaas Jan Halen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hubert Adriaanse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind volibears's goalkeeper Aurelio Malatesta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 57 played minutes Fruity Oaty Bars got a freekick which was hit by Rinus Ebbinge. The Fruity Oaty Bars fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Fruity Oaty Bars's Rinus Ebbinge looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 66th match minute, volibears was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmond Péquignot to maneuver through the defense. volibears's Pacorro Fernández was substituted for Edmond Péquignot. The supporters of Fruity Oaty Bars booed when volibears was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmond Péquignot didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Fruity Oaty Bars's goalkeeper Klaas Jan Halen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximilian Viklund. After 70 minutes, Douwe Hovenkamp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the volibears and the Fruity Oaty Bars players grew even worse after the yellow card. Douwe Hovenkamp hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Klaas Jan Halen came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by volibears's Jacob van der Valk. But to his dismay, Jacob van der Valk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. volibears's Aurelio Malatesta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rinus Ebbinge in the 80th minute of play. If Rinus Ebbinge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fruity Oaty Bars's attentive Mark Roelfs managed to snatch the ball when Orlando Abeita made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. Aurelio Malatesta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubert Adriaanse, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Fruity Oaty Bars's Klaas Jan Halen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximilian Viklund in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, volibears's Orlando Abeita got a free kick in the 96th minute. volibears's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Fruity Oaty Bars had won, even though volibears had held more of the ball.
