But to his dismay, Kevin Ekelhoff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 34 minutes into the game, Fruity Oaty Bars's Hubert Adriaanse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dennis Meindert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Pieter-Jan Schreuder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lex Sligter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Klaas Jan Halen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Sneek defense, Niels Hassel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dennis Meindert. The FC Sneek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dennis Meindert should have stopped the shot. Dennis Meindert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niels Hassel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Ekelhoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Dennis Meindert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Meindert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Roelfs, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Zé Mendonça made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fruity Oaty Bars's Mark Roelfs. Niels Hassel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Meindert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Hubert Adriaanse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fruity Oaty Bars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hubert Adriaanse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabiën Boeringe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 minutes, Armin Borromeo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Sneek and the Fruity Oaty Bars players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of FC Sneek:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fruity Oaty Bars:s goal. The score was 0-12 after a penalty in the 93rd minute, where Fruity Oaty Bars:s Pieter-Jan Schreuder tricked FC Sneek:s Dennis Meindert with a difficult ball by the left post. Mark Roelfs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Dennis Meindert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Fruity Oaty Bars left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Sneek.
