Klaas Jan Halen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymond Vives in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Fruity Oaty Bars's goal looked a bit too open when Napoleon Gollob came free, but Klaas Jan Halen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rinus Ebbinge's late challenge caught a Knollenveld FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rinus Ebbinge helped the player get up and apologised. Rinus Ebbinge hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Rinus Ebbinge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute, Audun Richardsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hubert Adriaanse to strike the kick off in the second half. Knollenveld FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Napoleon Gollob was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Audun Richardsen in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Klaas Jan Halen saved Fruity Oaty Bars from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Audun Richardsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Klaas Jan Halen was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. When Napoleon Gollob came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Knollenveld FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Napoleon Gollob couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Fruity Oaty Bars's goal looked a bit too open when Napoleon Gollob came free, but Klaas Jan Halen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Raymond Vives shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaas Jan Halen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Knollenveld FC booed when Fruity Oaty Bars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinhard Pluym didn't get a good kick on the ball. Napoleon Gollob shot from long distance after 87 played minutes, a shot that Klaas Jan Halen with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Klaas Jan Halen came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Knollenveld FC's Napoleon Gollob. But to his dismay, Napoleon Gollob quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0.
