Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1875, VIP seats: 50) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Spyros Skalidis made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 played minutes Weijereind S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gerrie Bust. In the 12th minute, Felix Strauch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Israel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Spyros Skalidis took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Israel. Jan Israel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Spyros Skalidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Wesley Reitsma came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Weijereind S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wesley Reitsma couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Hofman in the 33rd minute of play forced Weijereind S.C.'s goalkeeper Thomas Leonidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, SAFA United's goalkeeper Jan Israel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Spyros Skalidis. Jan Israel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wesley Reitsma showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 37 minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Weijereind S.C.'s Spyros Skalidis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Israel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. SAFA United's Ronald Hofman got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Hofman in the 47th minute of play forced Weijereind S.C.'s goalkeeper Thomas Leonidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronald Hofman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, SAFA United's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Strauch came free, but Jan Israel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Robert-Jan de Jong in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SAFA United's Guus Schophuis. The Weijereind S.C. fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Weijereind S.C.'s Spyros Skalidis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 67 minutes into the match, Felix Strauch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Israel. SAFA United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Strauch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Jan Israel came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Weijereind S.C.'s Wesley Reitsma. But to his dismay, Wesley Reitsma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. 77 minutes into the match, SAFA United's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Strauch came free, but Jan Israel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SAFA United made a substitution. Otto van Dijk replaced Dennis Holten. In the 89th minute Tonnie van Dongen suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Koen Waterman fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAFA United's protests and gave Koen Waterman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SAFA United's Koen Waterman got a free kick in the 90th minute. Erik Vonk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Thomas Leonidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Weijereind S.C. were victorious despite being under pressure from SAFA United for much of the match.
