Laurens de Freitas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Harold Rodenboog showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-14 in the 74 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferdi Vorenkamp kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Laurens de Freitas. That made the score 0-15 in the 78 minute of play. After some careless play in the Cadier defense, Anthony Hillen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laurens de Freitas. The Cadier fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laurens de Freitas should have stopped the shot. Laurens de Freitas was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Harold Rodenboog capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Harold Rodenboog really showed his touch with that goal: 0-17. Laurens de Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harold Rodenboog, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in De Kasteelheren's zone, Hub Roelofsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fokke Meijeringh came out of the goal and Hub Roelofsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. De Kasteelheren played a much better game than Cadier and deserved their victory. The Cadier players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
