Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1875, VIP seats: 50) Rik Wikenburg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Schoondorp AFC's zone, Rik Wikenburg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Ostadar came out of the goal and Rik Wikenburg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gerry Butterworth came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Hawkfield FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerry Butterworth couldn't finish the play. Benigno Ostadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rik Wikenburg in the 9th minute of play. Benigno Ostadar came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Hawkfield FC's Rik Wikenburg. But to his dismay, Rik Wikenburg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rik Wikenburg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benigno Ostadar having to make a save. In the 18th minute, Gerry Butterworth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hawkfield FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 20th minute, Rik Wikenburg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benigno Ostadar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a rather tough play, Schoondorp AFC's Zhang De Wei got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Rik Wikenburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benigno Ostadar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rik Wikenburg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Schoondorp AFC's Carel Hansma got a free kick in the 27th minute. Schoondorp AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Huub Meindert ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Hawkfield FC's Rik Wikenburg to a score. 0-5 in the 39th minute. Benigno Ostadar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rik Wikenburg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Hawkfield FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zhang De Wei was the one to do the kick off. Markku Kankaanpää took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhang De Wei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerry Butterworth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Rik Wikenburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rik Wikenburg had several of the Schoondorp AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed Benigno Ostadar as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 65th play minute Rik Wikenburg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benigno Ostadar. 0-8. In the 68th minute, Rik Wikenburg made a precise shot to the right of Benigno Ostadar. Schoondorp AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Rik Wikenburg might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benigno Ostadar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rik Wikenburg ran back to his position shaking his head. Rik Wikenburg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Robbie Roelofs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute of the match Fabiën van Rhijn shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Markku Kankaanpää showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Hawkfield FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Robbie Roelofs hit a great ball. In the 89th minute of the match Fabiën van Rhijn sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Markku Kankaanpää skillfully saved the ball. With 92 minutes on the clock, Robbie Roelofs commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Robbie Roelofs hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Markku Kankaanpää showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiën van Rhijn in the 93rd minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Hawkfield FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerry Butterworth.
