The ball went over the crossbar instead. Humberto Stroeve was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Toni Boshuis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. In the 30th minute Paul Verweijen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Stroeve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the De Rammers FC defense, Paul Verweijen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Stroeve. The De Rammers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Stroeve should have stopped the shot. Humberto Stroeve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Verweijen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piotr Hodyl in the 42nd minute of play forced FC Adder's goalkeeper Mario Kiewiet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Kiewiet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piotr Hodyl, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toni Boshuis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Toni van Zonderen hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 63rd play minute Vali Acatincăi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mario Kiewiet. 4-1. With a little luck, FC Adder's Mario Kiewiet got control of the ball when Vali Acatincăi tried to sneak it across the goal line.
