Harold Degens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necmettin Aydınoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Dongenvaart's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Verweijen came free, but Harold Degens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harold Degens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toni Boshuis went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Harold Degens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Boshuis in the 16th minute of play. Harold Degens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurens Stegeman in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Necmettin Aydınoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harold Degens. Dongenvaart's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Necmettin Aydınoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 21st minute, Gert Tanis made a precise shot to the right of Harold Degens. Dongenvaart's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Harold Degens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Verweijen in the 24th minute of the match. When FC Adder's Laurens Stegeman in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 36th minute, Toni Boshuis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Adder fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johan Grasmaaijer got free with Mario Kiewiet in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd match minute, Dongenvaart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne van den Eede to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dongenvaart's goalkeeper Harold Degens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paul Verweijen's late challenge caught a Dongenvaart's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Verweijen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Adder's Paul Verweijen got a free kick in the 45th minute. FC Adder's Mario Kiewiet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Grasmaaijer in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toni Boshuis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Laurens Stegeman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harold Degens was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. After 58 minutes of play, FC Adder's Paul Verweijen made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harold Degens was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Verweijen in the 62nd minute of play forced Dongenvaart's goalkeeper Harold Degens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dongenvaart's Harold Degens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Boshuis in the 63rd minute of play. Harold Degens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Verweijen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurens Stegeman took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harold Degens. Harold Degens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Harold Degens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toni Boshuis went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. 75 minutes into the match, Dongenvaart's goal looked a bit too open when Toni Boshuis came free, but Harold Degens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurens Stegeman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Harold Degens firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 81st minute, FC Adder's Toni Boshuis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Harold Degens. Harold Degens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. After 89th play minutes Toni Boshuis shot 0-12, a short shot which went by Harold Degens and just under the crossbar into goal. With a little luck, Dongenvaart's Harold Degens got control of the ball when Laurens Stegeman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harold Degens made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Laurens Stegeman sent off a good shot on target. FC Adder's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
