Benigno Ostadar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacco Hekman, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Jos Severijnse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schoondorp AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jos Severijnse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Miguel Lope made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Arjen Robben mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schoondorp AFC and the Rondo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 53 played minutes Schoondorp AFC got a freekick which was hit by Arjen Robben. With a little luck, Schoondorp AFC's Benigno Ostadar got control of the ball when Jacco Hekman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benigno Ostadar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Charly Rusterholz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 58 minute of play. Jacco Hekman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Benigno Ostadar made a huge save. Schoondorp AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rick de Zee 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. After 90 played minutes Rondo got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Lope. Orestis Lazarou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jos Severijnse in the 91st minute of the match. In the 94thth minute of the game Jacco Hekman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schoondorp AFC's Benigno Ostadar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded Rondo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Schoondorp AFC.
