The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Martin Soer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vali Acatincăi in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute Vali Acatincăi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Soer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Berry Ooijer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antoon Baars blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herman Tinselboer having to make a save. Herman Tinselboer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoon Baars, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ivo Deijnen might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herman Tinselboer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivo Deijnen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute Evaggelos Polizos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Soer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Govert Wilhelm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vali Acatincăi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Evaggelos Polizos made a precise shot to the right of Martin Soer. Mosk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Mosk's goal looked a bit too open when Piotr Hodyl came free, but Martin Soer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herman Tinselboer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ivo Deijnen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 31 minute of play. Ivo Deijnen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arjan Rieks charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arjan Rieks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes De Rammers FC got a freekick which was hit by Arjan Rieks. Herman Tinselboer was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Steven Fransen. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vali Acatincăi to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Mosk getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Antoon Baars hit a great ball. Oliver van Zaanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herman Tinselboer having to interfere. Herman Tinselboer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver van Zaanen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 65 minutes, Oliver van Zaanen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mosk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliver van Zaanen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to De Rammers FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Berry Ooijer hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, De Rammers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Fransen came free, but Herman Tinselboer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match, Piotr Hodyl tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Martin Soer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mosk's Martin Soer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaggelos Polizos in the 77th minute of play. With a little luck, Mosk's Martin Soer got control of the ball when Johannes Haan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Evaggelos Polizos managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Rammers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evaggelos Polizos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Soer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. De Rammers FC's Herman Tinselboer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoon Baars in the 85th minute of play. Herman Tinselboer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver van Zaanen in the 86th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Mosk got a freekick which was hit by Steven Fransen. Mosk's Japke de Koning was substituted for Henk Appeldoorn. A collision led to Mosk getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Steven Fransen hit a great ball. Vali Acatincăi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Japke de Koning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Mosk's zone, Jordy Moorlag stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Soer came out of the goal and Jordy Moorlag tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th match minute, Mosk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoon Baars to maneuver through the defense.
