Coenraad Genkenaar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Ellerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. After 6 played minutes Stevensbeek FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerrit Hartlief. In the 7th minute, Mark Haken sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Stevensbeek FC's David van Putten didn't even have to move. Vleut RKSV's Coenraad Genkenaar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Witters in the 9th minute of play. Coenraad Genkenaar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Ellerman in the 11th minute. Gerrie Heije sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 16 in the game by Michel Ellerman from a close distance when the talented Coenraad Genkenaar managed to make a qualified save. Vleut RKSV's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Ellerman got free with Coenraad Genkenaar in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20th play minutes Michel Ellerman shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Coenraad Genkenaar and just under the crossbar into goal. Michel Ellermans short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Coenraad Genkenaar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 24 minutes into the match, Maurits van der Bij dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Coenraad Genkenaar, 3-0. Coenraad Genkenaar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Bakhuis in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Vleut RKSV getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Rien Hekman hit a great ball. Demy Kamps blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Coenraad Genkenaar having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurits van der Bij in the 35th minute of play forced Vleut RKSV's goalkeeper Coenraad Genkenaar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Coenraad Genkenaar was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Maurits van der Bij capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maurits van der Bij really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michel Ellerman to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Michel Ellerman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stevensbeek FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Ellerman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Ellerman in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Coenraad Genkenaar saved Vleut RKSV from getting behind. Vleut RKSV's Coenraad Genkenaar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurits van der Bij in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Michel Ellerman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthony Bakhuis in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Coenraad Genkenaar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Vleut RKSV getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Gerrie Heije hit a great ball. Coenraad Genkenaar came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Stevensbeek FC's Michel Ellerman. But to his dismay, Michel Ellerman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 69th minute, Maurits van der Bij left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stevensbeek FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Bakhuis in the 73rd minute of play forced Vleut RKSV's goalkeeper Coenraad Genkenaar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Vleut RKSV getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Mark Haken hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the game, Stevensbeek FC's Michel Ellerman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Coenraad Genkenaar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After 84 minutes of play, Stevensbeek FC's Maurits van der Bij made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Coenraad Genkenaar was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Stevensbeek FC were the better team. Stevensbeek FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
