An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafer Baysal in the 26th minute of play forced Decathlon Dudes's goalkeeper Otto Onderwater to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Kluivertmannie's Cafer Baysal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The Decathlon Dudes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Otto Onderwater should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Kluivertmannie left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Decathlon Dudes.
