After 23 minutes of play, FC Schoonhoven's Mehmet Bedri Sağanalp made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wasyl Golembiewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute, Mehmet Bedri Sağanalp made a precise shot to the right of Wasyl Golembiewski. Hoogedorp de beste's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Gerard de Visser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Wasyl Golembiewski made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Arno Degenkamp made the kick off in the second half. Jamie Constantine was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Charles Anselius capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Charles Anselius really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Mehmet Bedri Sağanalp took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wasyl Golembiewski. Wasyl Golembiewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. FC Schoonhoven's Jamie Constantine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Anselius in the 61st minute of play. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hoogedorp de beste! In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for FC Schoonhoven. Alessio Darmanin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wasyl Golembiewski. 6-2. A collision led to FC Schoonhoven getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Nigel Holthuis hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match, Charles Anselius tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jamie Constantine saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The corner ended in Charles Anselius almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Schoonhoven's Jamie Constantine did a great save. Wasyl Golembiewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Otten in the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hoogedorp de beste's Dirk-Jan Breinburg got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Mehmet Bedri Sağanalp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Schoonhoven fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. Wasyl Golembiewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Bedri Sağanalp in the 81st minute of the match. FC Schoonhoven's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alessio Darmanin in the 82nd minute. The corner led FC Schoonhoven's Gerard de Visser to fire away a dangerous shot which Wasyl Golembiewski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 85th minute Donny Hermensen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamie Constantine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
