Spectators: 8425 (Terracing: 6319, Seating: 1938, VIP seats: 168) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dirk Roeles took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Chris Kimman took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dave van Zomeren to make any attempt to save it. Arno Fransen charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arno Fransen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes Wullenhoven got a freekick which was hit by Arno Fransen. In the 12th minute Wouter Zimmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave van Zomeren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Geert Haremeijer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 played minutes Wouter Zimmer rounded Wullenhoven's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Mark Duinhoven was extremely unlucky when he, in the 18th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Wullenhoven's Dave van Zomeren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gido Hoogland in the 19th minute of play. Koen Stam struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Gooitzen Meinders didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wullenhoven. 23 minutes into the match, Harzan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dirk Roeles came free, but Gooitzen Meinders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andre Mook hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 28 minutes, Jack Weken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wullenhoven and the Harzan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dave van Zomeren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Duinhoven in the 29th minute. The audience was convinced that Dirk Roeles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gooitzen Meinders was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Harzan FC's Dave van Zomeren threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wouter Zimmer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dave van Zomeren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gido Hoogland in the 36th minute. Dave van Zomeren made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Chris Kimman sent off a good shot on target. After 38 played minutes Chris Kimman rounded Wullenhoven's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Wullenhoven's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Chris Kimman scored to the left of an out of position Dave van Zomeren, making the score, 4-0. In the 47th match minute, Wullenhoven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arno Fransen to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Gido Hoogland sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Wullenhoven's Dave van Zomeren didn't even have to move. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gido Hoogland to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Chris Kimman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Dave van Zomeren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 63rd minute Gido Hoogland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave van Zomeren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dave van Zomeren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Kimman in the 70th minute of play. If Chris Kimman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dave van Zomeren came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Harzan FC's Wouter Zimmer. But to his dismay, Wouter Zimmer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Gido Hoogland took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dave van Zomeren. Dave van Zomeren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Dave van Zomeren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Kimman, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wullenhoven's zone, Gido Hoogland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dave van Zomeren came out of the goal and Gido Hoogland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dave van Zomeren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Kimman went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. 90 minutes into the match, Harzan FC's Wouter Zimmer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dave van Zomeren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Harzan FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
