When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Richard Ewald sped through FC Geitenkamp's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dedé Magalhães. 71 minutes into the match, FC Kayland's goalkeeper Telis Tabakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gijs Roorda. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Kayland.
