Spectators: 8200 (Terracing: 6150, Seating: 1886, VIP seats: 164) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kevin Newman kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute Ernest Kleinman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigi Donnarumma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The De Ontembare Leeuwen fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when De Ontembare Leeuwen's Kevin Newman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kevin Newman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernest Kleinman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gigi Donnarumma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernest Kleinman in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gigi Donnarumma saved afc champs from getting behind. A collision led to De Ontembare Leeuwen getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Carlos Gustavo Anatibia hit a great ball. Raymond Heersprink kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Heiko Som acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Klaas Jan Kramer. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind afc champs's goalkeeper Gigi Donnarumma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Steve Schrage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute of the match Klaas Jan Kramer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Heiko Som showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Kevin Newman put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gigi Donnarumma. After a rather tough play, afc champs's Andrea Di Tullio got a free kick in the 37th minute. The De Ontembare Leeuwen fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when De Ontembare Leeuwen's Kevin Newman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 42 minutes, Ernest Kleinman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Ontembare Leeuwen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernest Kleinman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Kevin Newman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Ontembare Leeuwen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 46th minute, Ernest Kleinman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute, Ernest Kleinman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gigi Donnarumma was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. The afc champs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. De Ontembare Leeuwen were winning 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrea Di Tullio was the one to do the kick off. Kevin Newman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Gigi Donnarumma skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Ernest Kleinman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Newman in the 56th minute of play forced afc champs's goalkeeper Gigi Donnarumma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute De Ontembare Leeuwen were awarded a corner. Raymond Heersprink went to the cornerflag to take it. Gigi Donnarumma was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Jacco Hoving capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jacco Hoving really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Ernest Kleinman in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gigi Donnarumma, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Heiko Som showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klaas Jan Kramer, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, afc champs's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Gustavo Anatibia came free, but Gigi Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th match minute, De Ontembare Leeuwen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Gustavo Anatibia to maneuver through the defense. Gigi Donnarumma was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kevin Newman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 75 minute of play. Felix Vondel kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Gigi Donnarumma stood somewhat misplaced when Kevin Newman came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 85 minute. De Ontembare Leeuwen made a substitution. Sander Spoel replaced Ernest Kleinman. Kevin Newman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Gigi Donnarumma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of De Ontembare Leeuwen booed when afc champs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gijs Molnar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sander Spoel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gigi Donnarumma firmly grabbed it by the left post. De Ontembare Leeuwen's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
