Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1875, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Americo Lastur kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Lastur in the 3rd minute of play forced Wullenhoven's goalkeeper Dave van Zomeren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 3rd minute, Americo Lastur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dave van Zomeren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 6 minutes into the game, Koen Stam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wullenhoven's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kayland the free kick. The supporters of FC Kayland booed when Wullenhoven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koen Stam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Americo Lastur scored 0-2 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dave van Zomeren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 11 minutes of play, FC Kayland's Nick van Hintum made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dave van Zomeren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Telis Tabakis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Toni Hilbrands showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 19 minute of play. Dave van Zomeren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jos Zoethout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dave van Zomeren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nick van Hintum in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Nick van Hintum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave van Zomeren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Americo Lastur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dave van Zomeren. Wullenhoven's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Americo Lastur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. FC Kayland's Richard Ewald got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dave van Zomeren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Americo Lastur went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute, Americo Lastur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kayland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. In the 44th minute, Koen Stam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telis Tabakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-7. Telis Tabakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Koen Stam in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dirk Roeles to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Wullenhoven's goalkeeper Dave van Zomeren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Ewald. The audience was convinced that Nick van Hintum's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dave van Zomeren was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 60th minute, Geert Haremeijer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dave van Zomeren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Lastur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute of the match, Americo Lastur tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dave van Zomeren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dave van Zomeren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick van Hintum, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Americo Lastur reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dave van Zomeren. The goal made the score 2-9. A collision led to Wullenhoven getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Koen Stam hit a great ball. In the 74th minute of the match Karel Anneese sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dave van Zomeren skillfully saved the ball. Dave van Zomeren made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Americo Lastur sent off a good shot on target. Richard Ewald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave van Zomeren having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Karel Anneese managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kayland's supporters rose to their feet, but Karel Anneese was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dave van Zomeren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 83 minutes of play, FC Kayland's Richard Ewald made it 2-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dave van Zomeren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wullenhoven's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Nick van Hintum scored to the left of an out of position Dave van Zomeren, making the score, 2-11. With his leg Dave van Zomeren managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when FC Kayland's Richard Ewald fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dave van Zomeren made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Americo Lastur sent off a good shot on target. FC Kayland played a much better game than Wullenhoven and deserved their victory. The Wullenhoven players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
