Americo Lastur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gerald den Hertogh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lukas Arts might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Telis Tabakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lukas Arts ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, FC Yupski's Henny de Zeeuw got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute, FC Yupski's Henny de Zeeuw seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Henny de Zeeuw the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Yupski protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Henny de Zeeuw had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Yupski! Tobiasz Hajder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Lastur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes of play, FC Yupski's Gerald den Hertogh made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Telis Tabakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Americo Lastur sped through FC Yupski's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tobiasz Hajder. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

62 minutes into the match, FC Yupski's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Hulscher came free, but Tobiasz Hajder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerald den Hertogh came free in the 66th minute and tried to tip the ball over Telis Tabakis, but to the joy of FC Kayland's supporters the ball went over. Tobiasz Hajder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nick van Hintum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 played minutes FC Kayland got a freekick which was hit by Rob Assendelft. A collision led to FC Kayland getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Rob Assendelft hit a great ball. Jan Kuiper made in the 83rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Richard Ewald immediately put the ball in play. FC Yupski's Tobiasz Hajder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nick van Hintum in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Oliver Bot fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Telis Tabakis, passed just outside the right post. Oliver Bot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Telis Tabakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute of the match, Oliver Bot got a very nice opportunity to score, but Telis Tabakis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Oliver Bot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Telis Tabakis made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Kayland fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Yupski had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
