The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Blanc was the one to do the kick off. Oliver Alberda charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oliver Alberda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bierunese booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Alberda didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kevin Arnolds came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Bierunese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Arnolds couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevin Arnolds in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tom Daamen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tom Daamen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Arnolds in the 64th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Bierunese got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Arnolds. In the 70th minute of the match Bram Sandstra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tom Daamen skillfully saved the ball. In the 77th minute Géza Fodor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Daamen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
