With a little luck, Overschie's Niek Kiewit got control of the ball when Kurt Redan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Niek Kiewit was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Kurt Redan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kurt Redan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 48 minutes into the match, Overschie's goalkeeper Niek Kiewit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Redan. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The crowd rose to their feet as Overschie's Roger Bueno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Taco Timmermans. That made the score 2-1 after 94 minutes of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Overschie players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Landgraaf 07.
