King Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niek Kiewit having to make a save. 21 minutes into the match, Overschie's goalkeeper Niek Kiewit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by King Batistuta. 23 minutes into the match, Jacksonville 67's goal looked a bit too open when Ruud Koning came free, but Rogelio Hanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorn Krommert in the 24th minute of play forced Jacksonville 67's goalkeeper Rogelio Hanni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute of the game Hugo Gerfen made a throw-in which Jan Rein Hindriks played forward. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Bueno in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogelio Hanni saved Jacksonville 67 from getting behind. Overschie's Niek Kiewit proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Overschie from getting a goal against them. King Batistuta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Niek Kiewit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Gerfen made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jan Rein Hindriks however managed to control. Rogelio Hanni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruud Koning in the 41st minute of play. Rogelio Hanni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruud Koning went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Roger Bueno made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Robert Fikkers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Hanni was a little too slow when Roger Bueno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-3. After some careless play in the Overschie defense, King Batistuta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niek Kiewit. The Overschie fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niek Kiewit should have stopped the shot. King Batistuta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niek Kiewit having to interfere. If King Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. King Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niek Kiewit having to make a save. King Batistuta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niek Kiewit having to interfere. Jorn Krommert kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Rogelio Hanni made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Ruud Koning sent off a good shot on target. Niek Kiewit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Batistuta in the 77th minute of the match. Jacksonville 67's Joost Opdam managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Gerfen in the 79 minute of the game. Overschie's Jan Rein Hindriks managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Freek Wander in the 80 minute of the game. When Jacksonville 67's King Batistuta in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
